Zero Degrees

Howdy folks. I have yet another Vegas food post. So basically for the longest time my mother and I had heard about this Asian-Hispanic fusion food and drink place. We thought there was a location near our side of town, but to our dismay, it still wasn't open. After months of waiting, Zero Degrees finally opened and our family got a little bit of everything. Here's what I captured.

Okay so I should probably start by mentioning that when I first heard of Zero Degrees I thought it was only a drink/boba place. So you can probably guess that we all got a different drink each to taste the variety. The drink above is the Mangonada, which is what my mom ended up getting.

Next up is what my dad got, the Cookie Monster. I will probably be getting this one next time I'm in town cause it was my personal favorite.

Last comes my drink which is the Ube Milkshake. I think I honestly got this because of the rainbow and marshmallow, but hey it was amazing. All in all, I was stunned at how well these drinks were crafted. Yeah it took some time for them to be made and each item does come out one at a time, but look at how pretty they all are.

Okay now for the food. As soon as I got one glance at the food menu before coming here I was extremely excited, and let me tell you, that excitement was totally worth it. From clockwise starting from the top left is the Hot Cheetos Cheese Fries, Elotes (Classic), Elotes (Hot Cheetos), and the Crispy Chicken Wings. Overall, Zero Degrees is absolutely fantastic and if you are ever near one you should definitely go grab a drink and one of their food items.

  1. Abdurraqib’s credibility comes from the fact that the subjects that he is talking about is something that he experiences first hand and is retelling this story of how it happened to him. In this specific case, Abdurraqib talks how he must fear for his life every time the police stop he or any person of color as they do not know whether they would live to see another day or stay in the darkness for the rest of their lives. Abdurraqib recounts his tales of many times that he was stopped by police, his first encounter being his worst, fearing that he might not have lived to see another day. The fact that he went through this experience gives him the ethos he needs to write an essay on the problems with police that still occur today and his distaste for it.
